A cloudless sky but a cold westerly wind greeted the Beagle enthusiasts for our April walk. After the ANZAC day festivities the previous day, it was great to see another fabulous turnout of 53 Beagles for our walk around the beautiful lake at Oxenford. The lake is used for rowing competition and, on occasion, model power boats but we almost had the lake to ourselves this day.

e walk around the lake, for those who are a bit more adventurous, is about 4 kms. But for those that wanted to relax, a leisurely stroll to the off lead park was in order.

Eventually, after we had warmed ourselves up on the 4km walk, we met the others at the off leash park where the pack reformed for the fabulous frolicking that always occurs. Serge had the young ones (along with some of the oldies) entertained as they chased him around the trees and agility gear.

It was once again a fabulous, although windy outing for the Club. Thanks to everyone who turned up and enjoyed the morning, as well as helping out with the morning tea, which was simply delicious. A big welcome also to the new members who joined the Club on the day. A fabulous morning once again.
