Our annual walk around the University of Queensland and the Green bridge as a thoroughly enjoyable morning. There were a few jumpers and long pants on the owners this walk, as it was unseasonably cold. The pack headed out along the bank of the Brisbane river. Although there were lots of cats to be seen this morning, they weren't the type the beagles would be cashing, as they were only the City Cats cruising the river. As usual, the dogs sniffed and smelled everything around them as they made their way to the western end of the Green Bridge. This bridge is a great bridge to walk over and is fairly long, with views along the Dutton Park and West End reaches of the river. After we crossed the bridge, we walked our way up to the Dutton Park of leash area, where we enjoyed a relaxing time and with the beagles enjoying themselves. Delta - the puppy of the day - kept the beagles amused as they chased her around the park. After about 20 minutes in the off leash park it was time to head back down the hill for our morning tea and for the beagles to have a good rest. Thanks to everyone who turned out and enjoyed the morning. |
